The interim pathway for caregivers is a temporary program. Foreign caregivers, with Canadian experience are able to apply for permanent resident status. This program allows individuals having experience as home child care providers or home support workers to apply for permanent residence.

Home Child Care Provider Pilot

The home child care provider is a program design specifically to bring workers holding experience as home support workers (NOC 4411) to Canada on temporary work permit and making them to be eligible to acquire permanent residence after gaining an in depth work experience.
